Getting Started / From Account to Connection

VPNHuman
Subscription and Client Setup

First get your subscription from the user dashboard, then import it on your device. Finally, check the connection and exit IP to confirm each step is working.

Create an Account and Save Your Login Details

Use the link below to open the VPNHuman account creation page. No email address is required; create an account with a username and password. Check your username for typos before setting a password you don't use on other websites. Follow the on-screen instructions after submitting. If your username is unavailable, change that field and submit again instead of repeatedly refreshing the page.

Once your account is created, make sure you can access your user dashboard. You’ll manage your plan, subscription, client downloads, and support tickets there. Save your username and password in a trusted password manager, and bookmark the site. Use the same account when switching devices; there’s no need to create another account to import the client.

Keep these two types of information separate: your username and password are for signing in to the user dashboard, while the subscription URL is used to add routes to a client. They serve different purposes. When a client asks for a subscription URL, don’t paste the dashboard login URL or enter your account password as subscription data. For now, just confirm that you can access the dashboard. Get your subscription after your plan is active.

Choose a Plan and Review Your Order

Open Plans in the user dashboard and choose a billing option that suits your usage. Monthly subscriptions are suited to regular use: ¥9.9/month includes 60GB, ¥18/month includes 250GB, and ¥28/month includes 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date, not on a calendar-month schedule. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Consider your browsing, video streaming, and file transfer habits rather than choosing based only on the number of devices.

If your usage is irregular, compare the data packages: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Data remains available until used and never expires. Data packages work differently from monthly subscriptions, so monthly reset rules don’t apply. VPNHuman allows unlimited devices, but using multiple devices still draws from your plan’s data allowance. Device count and data allowance are separate.

After choosing a plan, check its name, price, and data allowance on the order page. Then follow the Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT payment steps shown in the dashboard. Once payment is complete, return to the user dashboard to check the order and plan status. Don’t assume the plan is active just because the payment page closed. If payment went through but the dashboard hasn’t updated, refresh the order status before trying again to avoid submitting a duplicate order.

VPNHuman offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. See the Terms of Service for the application process and details. To compare plans, check the rules on the plans page. Make sure your current plan is active before continuing to get your subscription.

Get and Keep Your Subscription URL Safe

Once your plan is active, open Account Overview in the user dashboard and find the subscription options. Think of the subscription URL as the address a client uses to retrieve route settings. It’s not a regular website homepage or an installer. The client uses this URL to fetch available configurations, so use the dashboard’s copy button. This avoids missing the end of the URL or copying surrounding instructions by mistake.

If the dashboard offers an import option for your client, follow the prompt to open it. If your browser asks whether to launch an app, check that the app name matches the client you intend to use before allowing it. If the client doesn’t open, or isn’t installed yet, leave the dashboard open and return to copy the URL after installing it. There’s no need to look for conversion tools or download links on other websites.

Treat your subscription URL like account credentials. Don’t post it in public groups, forums, online conversion tools, or screenshots. When contacting support, hide the full URL and any identifying information it contains. If you think it has been exposed, check the dashboard for a reset option. Follow the dashboard instructions, then update the configuration on each device with the new URL. Don’t keep using the old configuration.

Open Account Overview

Import the Client for Your Platform

Open the client download section in the user dashboard and choose your device’s platform. After signing in, you can download VPNHuman clients for Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux without an active plan. You’ll need to sign in and have an eligible plan to get a subscription. iOS has different availability requirements; see the details below. Downloads are provided in the dashboard. This page doesn’t provide installers or actual subscription URLs.

These steps focus on VPNHuman clients that can read subscriptions. Depending on the client, the relevant screen may be called “Configuration,” “Subscription Management,” or “Profiles.” Look for an option to add a subscription URL or import from the dashboard, rather than one that asks you to enter a server address manually. For your first setup, use the import method provided in the dashboard instead of trying multiple clients at once.

Get the Client

Windows: Add a Subscription on the Configuration Page

Select Windows in the dashboard, then install and open the VPNHuman client as described in the download section. If the dashboard offers different builds for different system architectures, check your device information in system settings and choose the matching file. In the client, open Configuration or Subscription Management and select the relevant option, such as “Add” or “Import from URL.” Paste the complete subscription URL you copied, then give it a recognizable name on your device.

After saving, wait for the configuration to load and check that a list of regions or routes appears. Then select this configuration. If the client says the import succeeded but the main screen still shows an older configuration, return to the configuration list and check which one is selected. Don’t change advanced network settings yet. Keep the defaults and start the connection and verification in the final step.

macOS: Import a Configuration and Approve System Prompts

Select the macOS client in the dashboard and install it using the device and download instructions. If macOS asks you to confirm the app’s source the first time you open it, make sure the file came from the dashboard before following the system instructions. Don’t disable your security settings just to continue the installation. Next, open the client’s configuration management and add the subscription URL, or return to the dashboard and use its import option for that client.

After importing, check that the configuration name and route list appear. The client may request system permission when enabling network features; review the prompt before approving it. The macOS system proxy and the client’s connection status may be shown separately, so check both during verification. Simply opening the app doesn’t mean your browser traffic is using this configuration.

Android: Import from the Subscription Screen

Select Android in the dashboard and install the VPNHuman client using the download instructions. If Android asks whether to allow installation from this source, verify where the download came from and follow your device’s prompts to complete the installation. Open the client, go to its configuration or subscription screen, add the URL, paste the address copied from the dashboard, and save it. If your browser opens the client to import the subscription, check that the new configuration appears before trying again.

Once the configuration has loaded, select it and return to the main screen. The first connection usually triggers an Android VPN permission prompt. Confirm that it was initiated by the client you just installed before allowing it. Other network proxy or VPN apps on your device may interfere with the connection. Disconnect anything you don’t need while testing to avoid multiple apps controlling network traffic at once.

iOS: Install According to Dashboard Requirements and Add Your Subscription

For iOS, follow the options shown in the user dashboard. The corresponding App Store link is available only to users with an active, unexpired plan. If the page asks you to check your plan status first, return to Account Overview and verify it. Don’t apply installation steps for other platforms to iOS. After installation, continue with a client supported by the dashboard instructions that can import subscriptions.

In the client, find subscription or configuration management and add the URL, or accept the import started from the dashboard. When prompted to add a VPN configuration, check the app name before approving. Wait for the route list to load, then select the configuration before connecting. If App Store availability requirements or your account region prevent installation, follow the dashboard instructions rather than assuming the routes are at fault.

Linux and Other Configuration Issues

For Linux, choose the relevant client in the dashboard, follow the download section’s system instructions, and add the subscription in configuration management. Desktop environments, system permissions, and proxy coverage vary, so start with the instructions provided in the dashboard. For help with route types, streaming region detection, or advanced network settings, read the Streaming Guide. This page covers basic import only, not advanced configuration.

Connect and Verify It’s Working

Return to the client’s main screen and make sure the imported subscription is selected. Then choose a destination region from the route list. If a service requires a specific region, select that region; for everyday browsing, start with a route suited to your needs. Route type and region are not the same thing, so don’t assume a route is the best fit just from its name. For help choosing, see the route types guide.

Start the connection and approve any required prompts from the client or operating system. If the client offers system proxy, VPN mode, or another traffic-routing option, follow the dashboard and client instructions to choose what suits your device. Don’t enable multiple conflicting network controls at the same time. Once the client shows “Connected,” open a regular website to confirm basic access, then test the international websites or apps you actually need.

Next, open IP Lookup and check whether your browser’s exit IP matches the selected region. The result reflects the exit IP for requests from that browser; it doesn’t confirm that every app on your device is using the proxy. If the browser works but an app doesn’t, check whether your current mode routes that app’s traffic. A change in exit region also doesn’t automatically grant access to a streaming account’s regional catalog or playback rights.

If a website won’t load, check these items in order: confirm the plan is active in Account Overview, make sure the subscription refreshes successfully, verify the correct configuration is selected, and check that the connection and system proxy are enabled. Change one thing at a time, then test the same website again to identify what made a difference. If regular websites work but a specific platform doesn’t, see the Streaming Guide for account region, exit IP detection, and platform requirements. Avoid repeatedly reinstalling the client.

If the issue persists, open a support ticket from the dashboard and include your platform, the client message, selected region, the steps that caused the issue, and whether all websites are affected. Before sharing a screenshot, hide your subscription URL, account credentials, and payment details. This helps support troubleshoot the specific steps without having to start from “it doesn’t work.” If the route list changes later, refresh the existing subscription configuration; you don’t need to create another account.
